DCP is now a registered charity with Squidoo, a site dedicated to getting your word out there, whatever that may be. On Squidoo, you can create a "lens" (Squidoo lingo for web page) about anything that interests you. Summer 2009 Internship Openings

DCP is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for 1 internship position at our Connecticut, USA office. This internship will run from June - August. Applications are due 15 March 2009.Click here for more details.REMINDER: The application deadline for DCP's summer fieldwork internship is 15 February 2009. Applicants who are not selected can roll their application into the office internship applicant pool on 15 March.

DCP is proud to announce the latest issue of the Dolphin Gazette – DCP’s quarterly newsletter. Download the December 2008 issue as a PDF here. When in hard copy, the Dolphin Gazette is printed on 100% recycled paper! To be green, beginning in January 2009, the Dolphin Gaztte will be available via email to our members and dolphin adoption parents. Be sure we have your current email address on file!

Name A Dolphin Auction

DCP is pleased to announce a rare opportunity to provide a name for one of the wild dolphins identified from our study population in Bimini, The Bahamas. As individual dolphins living around Bimini are sighted more regularly, and we are able to recognize and identify them with ease, they are entered into our permanent ID database. Initially, new dolphins are assigned a number, but as we get to know them a bit better and their actions reveal their unique personalities, we occasionally offer the public the chance to give these dolphins a name of their own. This year, we have three dolphins ready to receive a name. So, DCP will be running three separate Name-A-Dolphin auctions on eBay. These auctions…

Summer 2009 Field Internships

 DCP is now accepting applications for summer 2009 field interns.  From June - August, interns will spend 6-8 weeks at our Connecticut, USA office and 3-4 weeks at our Bimini, The Bahamas field site.  Applications must be received by 15 February 2009.  For more information, click here.

2008 Bimini Summary Report

 With the 2008 Bimini research season behind us, we have been busy logging videos, identifying photographs and preparing for 2009 programs.  We look forward to a year-round presence in Bimini for 2009 which will allow us to opportunistically observe the dolphins in the "off-season" as well as during the busy summer months.  In the meantime, you can read our 2008 summary report by clicking here .

DCP now partnered with eBay Giving Works
